For me, the figure is still the most interesting of subjects to paint, every person is unique, and the same model on a different day is something completely new. There is so much potential there. 'The richness of each day depends on our attention to it' (artist Ray Hedger), when we draw someone our complete attention moment by moment rests on the task in hand, we are attentive and creative, it's a complete feeling.
